From a farming family and then a farm management background, is a founder director of ABP.
A keen private pilot and scuba diver, who also enjoys game shooting and attempting to keep fit with a mountain bike!
Angus Bell Director
Angus' career has been focussed on the financial management and development for farms, estates and renewable businesses to progressively improve financial returns.
Interests also include analysing complex businesses and investment appraisals of new ventures to forecast returns and identify commercial risks.
Outside work Angus enjoys coaching mini rugby, mountain biking, skiing, field sports and half training the family cocker spaniel!
James More Senior Farm Business Consultant
With a degree from Harper Adams Agricultural College, James has followed a farming career which includes farm management roles and then positions within large regional agricultural consultancy firms.
Assisting clients in a range of farm management roles as regards practical farming, effective machinery profiles and compliance with environmental schemes and BPS. In addition, the creation of sound practical farming budgets.
A farm machinery enthusiast who also enjoys field sports.
Peter Roberts Farm Business Consultant
Peter joined ABP in 2010 having graduated from Newcastle University in 2008 with a 2:1 degree in Agriculture and Farm business management. He has practical farming experience across a range of enterprises having worked on farms in the UK and Australia.
Specific roles includes farm consultancy, financial budgets and forward planning. As well as farm business appraisals, contact farming management and basic payment scheme advice.
Interests outside of work include playing cricket and other sports.
Alex Olivant Assistant Farm Business Consultant
From a farming family, Alex joined the team in November 2014 after working in Agronomy & National Variety Trials for 18 months, prior to that Alex attended Riseholme Agricultural College where she studied Level 3 Agriculture.
Outside of work Alex is an active member of Lincolnshire Young Farmers where she holds the role of County Treasurer, she is also Chairwoman of her local Club.
Natalie Dixon Finance Manager
Natalie joined the ABP team in 2012. After leaving college she joined a large agricultural machinery dealer as a sales administrator, progressing to become office manager before moving on to be become a farm secretary. Through her career she has gained a strong knowledge of the farming industry.
Roles include book-keeping, management accounts, payroll and financial management.
Outside of work Natalie enjoys cycling and walking.
George Strawson Farms Manager
From a Lincolnshire farming family and gaining a 2.1 Agriculture with Farm Business Management Degree from Newcastle. George also gained experience with a farm management role within a national farming company.
BASIS and FACTS qualified and registered, George is now responsible for the day to day management at LKF and the pursuit of agreed farming plans.
Outside of work George enjoys playing rugby, skiing, field sports and raising the standards of his gun dog.
Melissa Hill Accounts Assistant
Melissa joined the ABP team in Summer 2015 after finishing her AAT qualification at college. Before having a break to raise a family, Melissa has worked in administration for an Oil company, a Clay Pigeon manufacturer and a large retail store.
Melissa's roles include book-keeping and management accounts, as well as doing cash reports for many of our agricultural clients.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys walking, running and cycling to keep fit and training for Charity events.
